Feis Maitiu closing date 2nd December 2023 for online entries.
'Red Riding Hood' - our annual pantomime in the Firkin Crane which also features all our mini Montfort & primary students.

West End Trip - 13th - 15th February - Our annual 2 night / 3 day trip to London. Dance classes at Pineapple Studios, two West shows, excursions and much more!
Amy Thornton Dance Workshop - 2nd February. 6:00pm - 7:30pm - Matilda (9-13 yrs). 7:30pm - 9:00pm - Moulin Rouge (14 yrs plus). €15 pp.
Amy’s West End credits include: Palladium Panto (London Palladium), Matilda (Cambridge), Rock of Ages & Flashdance (Shaftesbury), Never Forget (Savoy) and Grease (Piccadilly).
Her credits also include: Evita (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Fame (UK Tour & Monte Carlo), Cats (Jersey & Guernsey) and Starlight Express (UK & Scandinavian Tour). She was also in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (Universal). Amy was resident choreographer for the West End production of Matilda, assistant choreographer for the US, Australian, German, Chinese, Paris and UK touring productions of The Bodyguard and associate choreographer for Regent Park’s Evita. Most recently Amy was Ellen Kane’s assistant choreographer for the film adaptation of Matilda, which received huge acclaim for its choreography. To book email info@montfortcollege.com

Fishpond - 'Audition Technique Workshop’ -3rd March. Screen work - Prepare a duologue in pairs no longer than 2 minutes. Direction - The importance of being able to take direction and listen. Acting is Reacting! Acting for Camera-Internalising and using your eyes to emote the narrative. Self Taping - How to make a good self tape. €45. 12:00pm - 2:30pm. ‘Broadway Kidz’ - 8th - 10th April - Cork Arts Theatre. The Montfort Youth Choir perform classic and contemporary hits from the best of Broadway.
Company Drama show - 12th & 13th April at the Cork Arts Theatre. Our company drama students will present a full scale drama production.
The Aaron Dwyer Dance Competition, Dublin - 20th & 21st April. Featuring our all our dance and acro company classes.
'A Grand Night for Singing' - 6th - 8th May at the Cork Arts Theatre. The Montfort College of Performing Arts singing students present a glorious evening of songs from Broadway to the West End!

'Drama Showcase' - April 2024. Our drama students present a display of their work from the past two terms. A feast of drama, poetry, choral verse and short plays.
‘Applause 2024’ - 24th - 26th May. Our annual end of year showcase featuring all dance and musical theatre students at Cork Opera House in May. This year we will be run 5 shows to showcase the incredble talent in our school.
