STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Roisin Spillane accepted to the MGA Academy in Scotland for full time performance training. 

Jenny Murphy accepted to Performers College in Essex for full time dance training. 

Rachel Twomey accepted to CSM for full time dance training. 

Jack Desmond accepted to CSM for full time drama training. 

Jennifer Barry played the role of Siobhan Walsh in the hit TV series ‘The Young Offenders’. 

Jamie Walsh selected to play the “young Jock’ in series 2 of The Young Offenders. Jamie’s sister Addison also featured in The Young Offenders. 

Roisin Spillane was cast in the Irish premiere of a new play ‘Dockers’. 

Katelyn Buckley played the title role in the Fermoy pantomime ‘Alice In Wonderland’. 

Sophie Manning, Ruth Murray, Jenny Murphy, Rory Collins all accepted to the Cork Youth Ballet Company. 

Liv Gregorio performed in 'Deirdre and the Sons of Usna – A Concert Performance’ in the Everyman Theatre.

During our Halloween dress up week our students raised €2,537.32 for the Make A Wish Foundation. 

Our Senior company dance class performed in the Barbara Sharples International Choreographic Awards in Manchester. 

Jenny Murphy represented the college at the International Dance Teachers Association competition in Manchester. 

The college was represented at the 5,6,7, 8 Dance Competition in Dublin where our groups participated in 6 competitions in which we were awarded five 1st's and one 3rd.

Some of our senior dance and musical theatre students performed routines at PERFORM 2020 in the RDS Dublin.

Our intermediate dance company performed in the Firkin Crane as part of culture night. 

68,000 audience members saw our students perform in ‘Peter Pan' at the Cork Opera House! We were so thrilled to have so many of our students selected!

EXAMINATIONS, COMPETITIONS & PERFORMANCES

716 students participated in the I.D.T.A Dance and Musical Theatre exams in February with a 100% success rate. In addition over 90% of students achieved distinction. 

We had a 100% success rate across all disciplines; drama, musical theatre, mime and speaking of verse and prose in the February LAMDA session. 

This year was our most successful in Feis Maitiu with winners in the drama, musical theatre and singing competitions. In all we had 75 placed students.

Over 1500 students featured in our Christmas panto ‘Cinderella’ in the Firkin Crane theatre.
