IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO....

  • It's a good idea to arrive 10 minutes before the start of a class. This will give children time to develop a routine and prepare for class.
  • Take your child to the toilet before class starts. (This is a helpful habit for the children to get into, as it helps to avoid the disruption of preventable toilet breaks during classes.)
  •  Bring a bottle of water for your child to sip in the water breaks.
  • Tie and clip loose hair away from faces. A ballet bun is ideal!
  • Do not wear ballet shoes or dance shoes outdoors. (It damages the dance floor and brings dirt and grit into the studio.)
  • Make sure your child has eaten a light snack and had a drink before you arrive at the studio, especially if coming straight from school.
