Diary Dates for the year ahead!
Term 1
- Aaron Dwyer Dance Competition - Our company acro and dance students will compete. Cork September 2025
- ShowTops International - Our company musical theatre, dance and acro students will participate in an international variety competition in the UK.
- Halloween Dress Up Week - October 2025
- 'Festive Fa La, La’ - our vocal students perform for a selection of classic and well-loved Christmas Carols and songs.
- ‘Holly Jolly Week’ - 8th - 14th December. A week of festive fun, games & stage school sparkle! Sing, dance, play and jingle all the way!
- ‘Peter Pan' - our annual pantomime in the Firkin Crane
- which features all our mini Montfort & primary dance and musical theatre students.
- ‘Aladdin’ Cork Opera House - Many of junior and intermediate students appear in the panto every year.
- LAMDA Examinations Spring session From 19th - 30th January 2026
Term 2
- West End Trip - 16th - 18th February - Our annual 2-night / 3-day trip to London. Dance classes at Pineapple Studios, two West shows, excursions, and much more!
- ‘Perform’ - RDS Dublin featuring our company dance, musical theatre and acro students.
- IDTA Dance & Musical Theatre Exams - 17th - 21st February 2026
- Feis Maitiu competitions - February / March 2026
- Acro Exams with Acrobatic Arts - February 2026
- Junior Company Drama show - 16th - 17th March at the Cork Arts Theatre. Our junior company drama students will present a full-scale drama production.
- 'A Grand Night for Singing' - 18th - 21st March at the Cork Arts Theatre. The Montfort College of Performing Arts singing students present a glorious evening of songs from Broadway to the West End!
- ‘Broadway Kidz’ - 13th - 15th April - Cork Arts Theatre. The Montfort Youth Choir performs classic and contemporary hits from the best of Broadway.
- Senior Company Drama show - 17th - 18th April at the Cork Arts Theatre. Our senior company drama students will present a full-scale drama production.
- LAMDA Examinations Summer session - May 2026
- 'Drama Showcase' - May 2026. Our drama students present a display of their work from the past two terms. A feast of drama, poetry, choral verse, and short plays.
- ‘Applause 2026’ - 22nd - 24th May. Our annual end-of-year showcase featuring all dance and musical theatre students at Cork Opera House in May. This year we will be running 5 shows to showcase the incredible talent in our school.
- London College of Music singing exams – 1st week of June 2026
