ACRO TEACHING STAFF 

 

Naomi Luttrell 

Naomi is a highly qualified and experienced dance instructor who specialises in acro dance, with over ten years of teaching experience across Cork city and county. Her deep-rooted passion for dance began at the age of four, training in a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, modern, tap and commercial. Over the years, Naomi has become widely recognised for her expertise and innovation in acro-dance education.

She is proud to be the only teacher in Ireland to hold the Acrobatic Arts Module 3 qualification, the highest certification currently available from the internationally renowned Acrobatic Arts programme. In addition to Module 3, she also holds:

  • Acrobatic Arts Modules 1 & 2
  • Acrobatic Arts Aerial & Back Handspring Certification
  • Acrobatic Arts Contortion Workshop 
  • Jessica Jones Acro Dance Teacher Training Programme
  • Alixa Flexibility Module 1

These qualifications ensure Naomi delivers the highest standards of acro training, with a focus on safety, technique, flexibility, and progression. Her students consistently achieve excellence in both performance and competition, underpinned by her expert guidance.

Alongside her acro expertise, Naomi is also a qualified dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). Her additional teaching credentials include a certification with Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).

Naomi holds a Diploma in Dance with Distinction from Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa (CSN) where she studied multiple dance styles in depth. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Trinity College Dublin graduating with a 1st class honours, and a BA in Geography and Economics from University College Cork (UCC), where she was a choreographer and member of the university’s jazz dance squad.

Naomi is the lead teacher for all Acro-Dance Company classes—Junior, Intermediate, and Senior—as well as the Pre-Intermediate Dance Company where she works with elite students to develop technical skill, creativity, and performance excellence in both group and solo performance. Her choreography has featured in national competitions and high-profile events such as Perform Festival Ireland showcasing her dancers’ technical excellence and creativity. She has choreographed Montfort pantomimes and shows (Sleeping Beauty, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Legally Blonde) and school musicals (Grease, Beauty and the Beast, Fame and Sister Act ).

With a unique blend of experience, qualifications, and creative vision, Naomi continues to lead the way in acro-dance education in Ireland, inspiring the next generation of dancers with her dedication and passion.

 

Kate O' Callaghan

With over four years of experience teaching Acro dance, Kate enjoys blending strength, flexibility, and technique to help dancers safely master acrobatic movement. She focus’s on building strong foundations, encouraging confidence, and fostering a fun, supportive environment where students can grow both as dancers and individuals.

Kate has trained in injury prevention, spotting techniques, and progressive skill development. 

Kate is a qualified acro-dance teacher with Acrobatic Arts, holding a module 1 & 2 qualification, Aerial & back handspring qualification & back tuck & back layout qualification. Kate loves sharing her passion for Acro & Dance with the kids at Montforts.

 

Aoife Hosford 

Aoife trained in London at Momentum Performing Arts Academy. She received a diploma in Musical Theatre and her DDE teaching qualifications through the ISTD. She graduated from the MTU Cork School of Music with a BA Honours degree in Musical Theatre in 2024. She is a qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher, having completed her Module One qualification in 2021. She completed her Module Two course this summer, along with an Aerial and Backhand spring course.

 

KAITLYNN COMPAGNO 

Kaitlynn began cheerleading at the age of 14, quickly developing a passion for the athleticism and team spirit the sport demands. She went on to compete both nationally and internationally, gaining valuable experience in performance, stunting, and choreography at a high level.

Alongside her cheerleading, Kaitlynn continued to train in various dance styles, later enrolling in a Diploma in Dance at Tramore Road Campus. There, she expanded her training to include Acro, studying technique and progression. After a year of college-level acro training, she began assisting acro classes, which sparked her interest in teaching acro.


Kaitlynn went on to earn her Module One Certification with Acrobatic Arts, enabling her to teach Acrobatics. She is passionate about sharing her love of dance and thrives on teaching and choreographing. She finds great joy in inspiring young performers and helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and skill.

 

Eva Brewster 

Eva begun her training with the Montfort College of Performing Arts when she was just four years old . She has always had such a love for dance from such a young age and can't wait to share that same love and passion with her students. She has trained in a variety of dance styles including Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Commercial & Acro dance. She has completed her intermediate exams in Modern Jazz. She has also completed up to her level 7 acro exams with Acrobatic Arts. Eva is now studying her Acrobatic arts module 1 qualification!
