Welcome to the Montfort Vocal Studio!
At the Montfort Vocal Studio we are proud to be led by department head Emma Nash, a renowned Irish soprano whose passion for music inspires every student. Supported by three hand-picked, fully qualified, and highly professional teachers, we are dedicated to nurturing vocal talent and helping students achieve their musical aspirations.
We welcome students of all abilities starting from 7 years plus. We offer group musical theatre classes for primary students and one to one lessons for secondary school students.
Our studio specialises in preparing students for professional examinations with both the London College of Music (LCM) and the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). With a track record of students appearing in Cork Opera House concerts, musicals and pantos, Feis Maitiu winners and numerous distinctions in music exams, our students consistently excel.
Each year our students have the exciting opportunity to showcase their talents in a spectacular singing show 'A Grand Night for Singing' at the Cork Arts Theatre. Additionally, they take part in our festive Christmas concert, “Festive Fa,La, La” celebrating the joy of music during the holiday season.
We also offer optional exams with the London College of Music and the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art ensuring our students receive comprehensive training and experience in the vocal arts.
All classes are conducted in our fully dedicated vocal studios located in the South Link Business Park, providing an inspiring environment for learning and growth.
