Class Structure

A typical 30 minute class would consist of the following;

  • Physical warm-up with a focus on posture and correct breathing techniques.
  • Vocal warm-up with scale exercises.
  • Technique and performance. We will work on age appropriate material that best suits the students' voice. In addition we aim to improve and develop clarity of diction, projection, intonation, rhythm, pitch, pace, vocal variety, movement, gesture and facial expression.
  • Warm down. Student will relax and breathe deeply, staying focussed on keeping the muscles in the body relaxed.

Our classes provide a structured approach suitable and tailored to all ages and ability which enables our students to master the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary for a confident and effective performance.
