Applause Rehearsal Schedule & Show Info

Dear student & parents,
Please see the rehearsal schedule below for the 30th and 31st May in the Opera House. Every class has been allocated 20 mins on stage to place and rehearse their item. You must be present 15 mins prior to your allocated time. It is imperative that every student attends. All students must be dropped off and collected from the stage door located on Half Moon St. (back of the Opera Hse) for the stage rehearsal. Students will be chaperoned at all times in the Opera House. No uniform is required but all students must wear their dance shoes.
On the day of performance - the 31st May you must arrive at the Opera House at either 1.30pm or 6.30pm - 1 hour prior to curtain up depending on which show you are performing in. You must go to your allocated point to be signed in and out.

Drop Off / Collection point B – Middle door on Half Moon St. – ALL PRIMARY DANCE & MUSICAL THEATRE STUDENTS
Drop Off / Collection point C – Stage Door – ALL SENIOR DANCE & MUSICAL THEATRE STUDENTS & CHOIR
For health and safety reasons all performers will be held backstage for the duration of the show and can only be collected from the designated collection point above once the show has concluded. Each class will be assigned their own dressing room and will be fully supervised by our staff. Bottled water and colouring books etc. will be provided to keep the children entertained.
All students should bring a holdall with their name clearly printed on it to store their own clothes, drink, dance shoes etc. Please arrive in a tracksuit to enable our dressers to fit costumes easily. No crisps, chocolate or fizzy drinks allowed. Also peanuts are strictly prohibited.
HAIR AND MAKE UP
Each child should arrive with basic foundation make-up already applied. No fake tan allowed. Each teacher will have their own suggestions in relation to how their hair should be worn. This information will be distributed this week and next.
COSTUME MONEY
If you have yet to submit your €10 costume fee per item, this must be done immediately either to the teacher or by contacting the office. Costumes will only be allocated to students who have paid in full.

SUMMER CAMP
Our summer camps throughout July and August are proving hugely popular. Douglas and Ballyvolane have already sold out, Garryduff, Penrose Wharf, Ballincollig have only a few places remaining. The West End camp is also virtually full. We expect all camps to be full by the end of May. To avoid disappointment please book your place by visiting www.montfortcollege.com
