THE LITTLE MERMAID AUDITIONS
Open auditions will take place on the 7th June from 10.00am - 2.00pm, the 8th June 10.00am - 5.00pm and on the 14th June from 10.00am - 1.00pm. We are looking to cast principals and ensemble. You must be 10 years of age or older to audition.
If you are auditioning for Ariel or one of the mersisters you must learn Part Of Your World and a contemporary pop song.
For the part of Ursula please prepare I Want The Good Times Back (the first 2.30 mins). Pls refer to the original Broadway cast recording on YouTube.
For Sebastian please prepare Under The Sea and Kiss The Girl.
For Prince Eric please prepare Her Voice and a contemporary pop song.
For Scuttle & Flounder which is open to boys and girls you must prepare When I Get My Name In Lights from the musical The Boy From Oz.
All audition pieces must be sung unaccompanied. In addition you will be required to read some script and participate in a dance call.
To secure an audition time please email trevor@montfortcollege.com with your name, age, parent/guardian tel. no. and indicate if you are auditioning for a part or ensemble. Times and dates will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. All auditions will take place in the Montfort studio at 70 Penrose Wharf. You will be required to submit a headshot with your name on the reverse on the day of audition. We are not in a position to return photos. Please spread the word!
