DANCE WORKSHOP
We are delighted to welcome home former Montfort student Sean Hackett!
Sean will be giving a dance workshop on Saturday the 19th January in Penrose Wharf.
2.00pm – 3.00pm - Students aged between 8 – 11 yrs. Cost €10 (JUNIOR)
3.00pm - 5.00pm - Students aged between 12 – 17 yrs. Cost €13 (INTERMEDIATE)
Classes will consist of a technical jazz warm up followed by cross the floor combinations.
Sean will then work on a routine with each group.
JUNIOR – ‘Naughty’ from Matilda
INTERMEDIATE - ‘The Audition’ from A Chorus Line and ‘One Vision’ from We Will Rock You with the intermediates.

About Sean Hackett
Sean was awarded a 3 year musical theatre scholarship under Teresa Kerr at Bodywork in Cambridge. Credits include Moulin Rouge at the Mumford theatre and the part of Kaa in The Jungle Book, the Narrator in Peter Pan with Alvin Stardust at the Worthing Pavilion. Sean performed alongside Brian Connolly in Cinderella at the Birmingham Hippodrome where he understudied Prince Charming. Sean worked for Disney UK on High School Musical. UK tours include West Side Story and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. West End credits include 7 Brides for 7 Brothers understudying then playing the part of Caleb at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Sean joined The Olivier award winning production of Cabaret with James Dreyfus and Honor Blackman playing Helmut and understudying and playing the young Nazi tenor. Sean also danced in the movie Sylvia with Daniel Craig and Gwyneth Paltrow. Sean currently teaches and is involved in several exciting West End workshops including the new Spice Girls musical and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
