A fun and creative two weeks for 9 – 18 yrs  focusing on Acting, Singing, Dance and Musical Theatre! 

The West End summer camp is a high energy, intensive, fun filled two weeks of theatre training in drama, singing, dance and musical theatre. 

The camp runs from the 11th July - 23rd July from 11:30am - 4:30pm (Week 1 - Monday - Friday), (Week 2 - Tuesday - Saturday) culminating in a fully staged performance in the Firkin Crane theatre on the 23rd July.

SPECIAL GUEST TEACHERS FOR 2022! 

CIARAN CONNOLLY 

We are delighted to welcome back as special guest choreographer Ciaran Connolly. Ciaran has choreographed the panto at Cork Opera House for the past 5 years. In addition he worked as assistant choreographer for the Spice Girls’ Reunion Tour and was choregrapher of Emma Bunton’s solo concert at the Royal Albert Hall. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Take That, Robbie Williams, Katherine Jenkins, Darcey Bussell, Michael Buble, Will Young, Cheryl Cole and Girls Aloud. 

FRANK MACKEY

 

Frank appears annually as Nanny Nellie in the Cork Opera House pantomime. He was mostly recently seen in NANNY NELLIE’S ADVENTURES IN PANTOLAND. Abbey theatre credits include AN IDEAL HUSBAND, SIVE, THE SILVER TASSIE and THE REAL McCOY.

Further theatre work includes Sir Bushy in RICHARD II directed by Michael Barker-Caven for Ouroboros, GLORY BE TO THE FATHER (Red Kettle) and THE SPIRIT OF ANNIE ROSS with Druid, Jonathan Miller’s production of AS YOU LIKE IT at the Gate theatre and the role of Seamar in Pat Kinevane’s THE PLAINS OF ENNA directed by Jim Culleton as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival.

Film and television credits include RTÉ’s popular courtroom drama STRIKING OUT directed by Lisa James Larsson for Blinder Films, THE TUDORS created by Michael Hirst for Showtime, THE DAWNING by Jennifer Johnson (Lawson Productions), REBEL HEART directed by John Strickland (BBC), John Piggot in FAIR CITY (RTÉ), VAL FALVEY TD with Grand Pictures, award-winning medical drama THE CLINIC directed by Robert Quinn for Parallel, DAMAGE directed by Aisling Walsh (Subotica) and Paul Walker’s powerful documentary drama STARDUST directed by Ciaran Donnelly for Merlin Films.
